Cheltenham manager Mark Yates admits that he is unlikely to be able to bring Medy Elito back to Whaddon Road.

The winger enjoyed a two-month loan spell with the Robins last season, scoring three goals in 12 games, which helped keep Cheltenham in the Football League.

However, Yates has confirmed that Elito wants to play for his parent club Colchester next season, telling the Gloucestershire Echo: "I have spoken to Medy's agent as well as John Ward (assistant manager) at Colchester and he loved his time with us. His efforts were much appreciated, but he has a year left at Colchester and he wants to play for his parent club now, so I'd say it's a long way off for us to bring him back here at the moment."
