Williams keen to follow Blackpool`s lead

Swansea defender Ashley Williams will take inspiration from the success of Blackpool next season.

Blackpool pipped the Swans to the last Coca-Cola Championship play-off semi-final spot this term before going on to clinch a place in the Barclays Premier League with a Wembley victory over Cardiff.

Williams admits he does wonder what might have been but prefers to view Blackpool's glory as an example of what can be achieved, saying: "It is disappointing for us and I am sure it still hurts everyone that we are not there. To see Blackpool in the final, you can't help but wonder that it might have been us, but I am sure it will make us a lot hungrier next season to get the job well and truly finished."
