Heading into WrestleMania 34, all eyes are on Ronda Rousey to see how she’s going to perform in her WWE debut on the biggest platform possible.

After making her first appearance at the conclusion of the Royal Rumble event, the former UFC bantamweight champion made several big impacts. We saw her put Triple H through a table and also showcased a potential new finishing move on Stephanie McMahon after stating her desire to face the Monday Night RAW commissioner at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

WRESTLEMANIA 34 DEBUT

As expected, there are going to be doubters who don’t think she will impress in New Orleans while there are those that are genuinely excited to see how her transition from the Octagon to the squared circle will go down on April 8.

PASSION

“Here’s how you put together a great WrestleMania: you put together...it’s a variety show. Here’s your matches that have a chance to be 5-stars, here’s your matches just to get everybody on the card that have no chance of being great matches, you’re just putting everybody on the show and then here’s your attractive matches.

“Here’s your Brock vs. Roman, here’s your Angle & Ronda vs. Triple H & Stephanie. They can put together the match any way they want.

“All they have to do is just put it together so she has one or two spots that really pop and mean something. The rest is all dog and pony show, show business. A, she’s an athlete. B, she’s a wrestling fan and C, she wants to do this. She’s going to be fine.”

A lot has been made about Rousey not wanting special treatment and working hard at the Performance Center which suggests she’s genuinely in this for the long run.

When you have that passion, that star appeal and you’re working with the greats in Triple H and Angle, Rousey should not only do well in her debut but it’s going to be a match the world is going to be talking about for a long time.
