The Toronto Raptors saw their 11-game winning streak come to an end with a 132-125 loss at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder in a wild encounter on Sunday. The game featured a hugely controversial and chaotic ending as DeMar DeRozan, Serge Ibaka and Raptors head coach Dwane Casey were all ejected in the final minute.Toronto were furious with the officials for several missed calls down the stretch and DeRozan, in particular, couldn't hide his anger and was hit with two quick technicals and was removed from the contest.Ibaka had also said too much and was unsurprisingly tossed but the decision to send Casey to the locker room did cause some confusion. With the entire arena becoming hostile, a fan appeared to yell something in the direction of the referee but it resulted in coach Casey being given the boot.He looked bemused by the decision and reacted by giving a wry smile in amazement. But he chose not to argue with it and simply took off his jacket and headed to the locker room. The reactions of both Kyle Lowry and OKC guard Corey Brewer, who were stood close to him, was absolutely priceless.

The pair couldn't help but laugh at what they'd witnessed and looked at each other in disbelief.

It soured what was ultimately a great game at Air Canada Centre and it's a shame that it'll be remembered for the madness at the end instead of the quality on the court.

But this will be a huge issue for the league to address as multiple coaches and players have criticised the officiating in recent days.

Coaches Doc Rivers, Stan Van Gundy and Alvin Gentry have all been hit with $15k fines for publicly slating the refs and DeRozan may be the next to pay the price after his post-game comments.

Casey, however, took a calmer approach and stated that they'd discuss things with the league in the correct manner.

“All we want to ask for is fairness and consistency,” coach Casey said, according to Blake Murphy of The Athletic. “I’m not gonna step here and criticise officials, we made enough mistakes. But we’ll complain in the right, proper way. We gotta get it right around the league.”

Instead of blaming everything on the officials, he also pointed to mistakes made by his own players and admitted that was their downfall.

"We made enough mistakes down the stretch also," Casey said, per ESPN. "We shot ourselves in the foot, missed easy shots, layups, free throws, turnovers."

The Raptors missed the chance to set a franchise record with 12 consecutive wins but they still comfortably at the top of the east with a 52-18 record - five games ahead of the Boston Celtics.
