The Toronto Raptors' 11-game winning streak was snapped on Sunday as the Oklahoma City Thunder came into Air Canada Centre and claimed a victory in a controversial clash.

The home team had a chance to set a franchise record with 12 consecutive wins but a fifth straight triple-double by Russell Westbrook inspired OKC to a 132-125 triumph.

It was a chaotic ending as DeMar DeRozan, Serge Ibaka and head coach Dwane Casey were all ejected late in the game for arguing with officials over missed calls and using some choice words.

This slightly overshadowed a thrilling contest as both teams went back and forth throughout the game and was only decided in the final minute.

The referees were once again a huge talking point but some of the basketball on display shouldn't go unnoticed as there were some impressive highlight plays.

One of the plays of the night belonged to C.J. Miles as he surprised everybody in the arena with a rare moment of athleticism.

During a quick fastbreak by the Raptors, the veteran received the ball in the corner but with his defender, and the crowd, expecting him to attempt his customary three-pointer, he beat his man off the dribble and attacked the basket.

He only had eyes for the rim and threw down a vicious one-handed dunk on former Raptor Patrick Patterson that sent the fans inside Air Canada Centre into raptures.

This reaction was as much in amazement as it was excitement as he caught everybody off guard.

Miles is a three-point specialist and very rarely puts the ball on the floor and drives to the basket in this manner.

But having struggled from beyond the arc for much of the game, going just 3-of-9, he decided to try and get himself going in another way and it certainly proved to be the right decision.

Patterson certainly wasn't hoping to be put on a poster in his first return to Toronto since joining the Thunder as a free agent in the summer, but Miles punished him for a late close out at the rim.

The 30-year-old had a solid game off the bench as he contributed 15 points and two rebounds and was once again a key part of the league's best bench unit.

But his efforts were not enough to help the Raps get another win as the visiting Thunder extended their winning run to six games.

With a 52-18 record, however, the Canadian-based franchise is still on course to secure the number one seed in the east and are on course for their highest wins total if they manage to win five of their remaining 12 games.
