Chairman Huw Jenkins has revealed he will hold talks with free agent Lee Trundle over a possible return to Swansea.

The 33-year-old, who is a fans' favourite at the Liberty Stadium, scored 78 goals in 146 appearances during a four-year stint at the club before joining Bristol City in 2007.

The Wales international spent last season on loan at the Swans and his release from the Robins has prompted Jenkins to arrange a meeting with him.

"I will be speaking in general terms to Lee this week," Jenkins told the Evening Post. "What will happen with him? The answer is that I don't know at the moment."

He added: "I don't think Paulo has made his decisions yet as far as our forward situation goes. It's a question of who is available as well as who we have got, and there are always a couple of options there.

"At the moment Paulo is weighing up his options and he has not decided either way regarding any of the forward positions."
