In just over a week's time, Anthony Joshua will take on Joseph Parker at the Principality Stadium in a bid to unify the heavyweight division.

But attention has somewhat diverted from the fight in recent days amidst rumours UFC president Dana White is lining up a multi-fight deal worth upwards of £350 million to AJ.

White has previously expressed interest in tapping into boxing and it would appear he's going all out to land the sport's biggest name at the moment.

In response to the reported offer, Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, said they're always open to new business ventures.

"If Dana White wants to speak to us, obviously Anthony is with us, we're willing to talk to anybody," said Hearn on Wednesday night.

"We do great business with everyone -- Bernd Boente, Duco Events. I work with Top Rank, Golden Boy, Al Haymon. We work with anyone if the business is right."

So the question now is: what does AJ think about potentially stepping into the Octagon? Well, it would appear the 28-year-old is very keen.

AJ TO FIGHT IN UFC?

Speaking on Thursday, Joshua explained that the idea of making some "good money" and "good fights" in UFC interests him a lot.

However, he has one condition before any deal can move forward; AJ will only commit to UFC if White agrees to let Hearn to stay involved.

"I'm interested because we can all work together," said Joshua. "Mine and Eddie's relationship is a really good working relationship. You know?

"And I'm sure Eddie has an interest in working with Dana White. If it's good business, it makes sense.

"I'm not in the business and I'm sure Eddie isn't in it to say, 'Oh, Dana White, we're not interested in working with you,' when we don't know what's on the table.

"We'll listen and a hundred percent, if it makes sense, we're all ears, man. So I'm happy that Dana's coming into the game.

"Hopefully, he can add some excitement, and we can progress forward and make some good money and make some good fights."

The idea of Joshua competing in the Octagon is certainly an exciting one but he wants to stay loyal to his promoters, Matchroom Boxing and Hearn, if it happens, which is great to see.
