Heading into WrestleMania 34, all eyes are on AJ Styles as there have been plenty of questions regarding his involvement at the event on April 8.

The Phenomenal One is currently injured and there was understandable worry regarding the fact that he might not make it to the Grandest Stage of Them All. If that was the case, then his WWE Championship defence in New Orleans, Louisiana against Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura was in jeopardy.

INJURY

However, since then, Styles has confirmed that one way or another, he will make it to the Superdome and have his match against The King of Strong Style. Along with this, Triple H has revealed that Styles is undergoing intensive rehab to make sure he’s healthy enough to compete at WrestleMania 34 this year.

MAIN EVENT?

According to Ringside News, he feels that - like his match against Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33 where the duo opened and stole the show - setting the tone for the rest of the night compared to performing in front of a tired crowd can be beneficial.

He said: “Well, I think everybody wants to main event. I think you wait on the last match to put on the best show. I think that’s it, that’s where everybody wants to be.

“But at the same time, there’s a lot of matches, so you don’t want the person to get sleepy or tired, so going on first like Shane McMahon and myself did last year was pretty awesome.

“Working with Shane was awesome. We gave people a match they definitely didn’t expect. I think it stole the show, but I think that has a lot to do with the McMahons’ work ethic.

“They want it to be perfect, they want everything to be just right, and I applaud Shane -McMahon’s work ethic. I think it’s unbelievable and I’d do it all over again.”

While everyone wants to see Styles and Nakamura tear it up in the main event, the fact is, the two are going to steal the show regardless of where they are placed on the WrestleMania card.

All they need is enough time.
