England vs Holland was billed as a huge test for Gareth Southgate and the Three Lions squad. The friendly fixture in Amsterdam was one of the last chances for players to prove their worth to the manager ahead of the World Cup in Russia. The likes of James Tarkowski, Alfie Mawson and Lewis Cook were all surprise inclusions in the squad this time around, with the starting XI anything but a formality. However, the prelude to kick-off in Amsterdam was marred by some unsavoury behaviour from England fans in the city.Footage showed the 'Barmy Army' throwing beer over innocent people on boats form a bridge, while also chucking a bicycle into the river. So it seemed quite appropriate when one of the Dutch mascots decided to do something pretty out of the ordinary during the national anthems. As the camera panned to the home side, one of the mascots decides to flick two V signs at the camera. You can watch the footage below.

Safe to say a lot of England fans on Twitter picked up on the incident which they interpreted as a rather rude gesture. Here's the best reaction.

So why did she do it?

Well, as Sport Witness aptly posted, the gesture means something entirely different in Holland and was probably not targeted at England fans, despite the fact they did actually boo the Dutch national anthem.

Maybe it's best to see the funny side of the whole incident.

After all, who didn't do the same behind their parents back when they were little? Probably best for the Dutch FA to let her not to do it again, though.
