The WWE's Women's Division has seen a huge boost in recent months, as former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is now an official WWE Superstar.

"The Rowdy One" made her official WWE debut after the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble match in January. She hit the ring to confront Rumble winner Asuka, RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss, and SmackDown Live Women's Champion Charlotte Flair.

She pointed up at the WrestleMania 34 sign and indicated her intentions to compete at the event. Soon after her WWE contract signing at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV), she sparked a rivalry with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

WWE slowly laid the groundwork for a match between Rousey and Angle teaming up against McMahon and Triple H at WrestleMania 34.

The match is one of the most highly-anticipated bouts on next month's WrestleMania card from New Orleans, and there will be a ton of media outlets at the event to cover Rousey's involvement in the show.

Rousey was recently interviewed by Sky Sports to promote her WrestleMania match. She explained how her background in mixed martial arts (MMA) has actually benefited her a bit in her WWE training (quotes via 411Mania):

“It’s almost a combination of everything that I’ve done and something entirely different and unique.

"There are so many things from judo that apply to WWE, so many things from fighting that apply to WWE and there are so many things from acting and doing media and public speaking that apply.

"And there are so many things that are completely unique to the business; I still have such a vast amount to learn and it’s really rejuvenated me.

"To master something new is one of my greatest pleasures in life, rather than just sitting there doing something you already know how to do.

"I want to be mentally pushed and challenged every day and it’s hard to not be in this world and not be totally obsessed and engrossing by it.

"My body is aching all over and I’m mentally exhausted from everything I’m learning but I can’t remember the last time I was as happy as this, maybe my wedding day.”
