While it's hard to find the positives in any injury situation, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has done exactly that following another injury on Friday night during his team's win against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Warriors managed to defeat the Hawks 106-94 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland last night, with Curry finishing the night with 29 points, seven rebounds, and an assist before exiting the game before its conclusion with a knee injury. He had only played 25 minutes and was 10-of-18 shooting.

The point guard was injured after a collision with teammate JaVale McGee during the third quarter of the contest. McGee went up to block a shot, but when he came back down he landed on Curry's left leg. This caused him to limp around the court before exiting the game.

The Warriors announced later after the game that he had suffered an MCL sprain in his left knee and would undergo an MRI later today. While it might seem like for some that Curry is getting no luck at the moment since he had only just returned from another injury in this game, the man himself is just glad he hasn't re-injured his ankle.

Speaking to ESPN after the game and in good spirits, Curry said: “Well, at least it’s not my ankle,” before walking away with a minor limp.

This was the point guard's first game back for Golden State in six games due to a right ankle injury, but now it looks like he could very well be spending some more time on the sidelines. We’ll find out later today the severity of the injury. It doesn't sound like it's too serious, but we'll just have to wait and see.

With Klay Thompson (hand fracture), Draymond Green (pelvic contusion) and Kevin Durant (rib contusion) all still sidelined as well, this hasn't been the approach to the postseason that the Warriors would have liked, especially with how well the Houston Rockets are playing right now. Sometimes you just have to play the hand which you are dealt.

Warriors fans will be keeping their fingers crossed that Curry is able to play for the team when it matters the most in the playoffs, even if it means he has to sit out the rest of the games left in the regular season.
