One of the more highly anticipated matches taking place at WrestleMania 34 is the triple threat contest between The Miz, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins.

The Intercontinental Championship will be on the line and one thing fans are pleased about is that WWE isn’t throwing a bunch of superstars into a random ladder match with the prestigious title hanging over the ring.

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Instead, we’ve had a fantastic build between the three stars. The dynamic between them has been nothing short of brilliant; especially The Miz who has continued to show why he’s perhaps the best heel in all of wrestling today with his continued references to bingo halls, alongside the independent history of Balor and The Kingslayer.

NEW CHAMPION?

The link then took viewers to a video of Balor speaking. However, it’s not Balor who mentions the championship - so it sounds like it’s the arena who might have spoiled this beforehand with Rollins either leaving WrestleMania as the new champion, or at least claiming the title before the Belfast event on May 10.

If this is the case, then Rollins could find himself in elite company, as he could end up as a Grand Slam Champion in WWE - joining Randy Orton as the latest. He’s already claimed the WWE Championship on two occasions, he defeated John Cena to add the United States title to his collection while he’s also held the tag team titles on multiple occasions.

All that seems to be missing is The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship, and he could achieve that feat on April 8.
