Millers boss hopes to keep Le Fondre

Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore has revealed he will be more than happy if star-man Adam Le Fondre does not attract the attentions of another club this summer.

The 23-year-old, who netted 25 league goals in 44 games for the Millers last season, moved to the Don Valley Stadium from Rochdale for £100,000 last summer.

"We've never had an offer for Alfie. Nobody's rung me which is strange when you consider he has scored 30 goals," Moore said. "But I will not be upset if that continues."

He added: "He was quiet in the play-off final but that happens when you are a striker. The ball didn't fall his way but he is 23 years old and he has all the pressure of scoring goals for this football club.''
