It's no secret that Brock Lesnar could very well be leaving the WWE soon and re-signing with the UFC once more, but there are a couple of fans that think he is using the MMA promotion as a negotiation tactic in order to get a better contract out of WWE.

Lesnar teased a possible return to MMA back in 2015 after WrestleMania 31, but he ultimately decided to sign a new WWE contract and stay with the company for another few more years. Things could play out a lot differently though this time around.

Brock's current WWE contract reportedly expires after WrestleMania 34 next weekend, and when it does, many expect him to announce that he's signed a new deal with UFC. However, despite the strong reports, there are still a few doubters that don't believe he'll make the MMA switch.

Paul Heyman, Lesnar's on-screen manager in the WWE, recently did an interview with Newsweek where he wanted to make sure that those people that doubted where Lesnar's future was heading knew exactly what his situation was with UFC and WWE.

Heyman said: “I don’t think it’s any secret that Brock is looking to get back into the Octagon. He is obviously eyeballing another fight in UFC. There’s no secret. He’s posing for pictures with Dana White wearing a UFC shirt in the UFC offices in Las Vegas. That’s not a negotiating tactic, Brock Lesnar wants to compete inside of the Octagon.

"There’s no leveraging that; it’s a fact. Now, when will it take place, against who and where? These are just details. The big question has always been ‘are you willing to do this?’ And it’s pretty apparent that Brock Lesnar is.”

So it appears Lesnar truly is leaving WWE soon and is heading back to UFC, although despite what Heyman has said, some people still won't believe this to be true until they hear an official announcement from either side.

Of course, before the former UFC Heavyweight Champion can step foot inside the Octagon once more for a fight, he will have to serve out the remaining six months of his suspension for testing positive for the estrogen blocker clomiphene from before his UFC 200 fight with Mark Hunt.

Once he has done that, only then can Lesnar have another fight for UFC.
