Arsenal have reportedly beaten off strong competition from Chelsea to land highly-rated Dutch youngster Kyle Ebecilio.
The 16-year-old Feyenoord midfielder had been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in previous weeks, but Arsenal appear to have secured the player's services with a last minute move.
Dutch website RTV Rijnmond reports that the Gunners will unveil their new teenage signing on July 1st, with Ebecilio thought to have chosen north London over west with a view to potential first team opportunities under Arsene Wenger in the future.
Described as a powerful attacking midfielder, Ebecilio has represented the Netherlands at both U15 and U16 level and is seen as a rising star of the future in his homeland.
Feyenoord are thought to be unhappy about the deal, losing one of their most prized assets. The Rotterdam club could do little to prevent the deal though, with contract age laws in his homeland playing a possible part in his exit.
Ebecilio joins Robin Van Persie and Nacer Barazite as Dutchmen at the club, although might have to wait until the later stages of his three-year deal to mix alongside the senior figures at the Emirates.
