Published Add your comment

Oldham will unveil their new manager at a press conference on Wednesday when it is widely expected that Paul Dickov will be confirmed as Dave Penney's successor.

The Latics have refused to comment on reports claiming the former Manchester City and Scotland striker, 37, is to succeed Penney at Boundary Park.

The much-travelled forward has never previously managed, but is expected to replace Penney, who was sacked in April after Oldham dropped into relegation trouble.

Oldham will unveil their new manager in the Sponsors Suite at Boundary Park on Wednesday at 10am.
