Grimsby land Millers midfielder

Published Add your comment

Grimsby have signed Rotherham midfielder Michael Cummins on a one-year contract.

The deal includes an additional one-year option to keep the 32-year-old at Blundell Park beyond next season.

Cummins helped Rotherham reach the League Two play-off final last season.

He began his career at Middlesbrough but made just two appearances for the club in just under four years and left the Riverside Stadium in March 2000 to join Port Vale.

Cummins played more than 250 games for Vale before moving to Darlington in May 2006. Two years later he joined Rotherham.
