Carlisle forward Jason Price hopes his experience can help turn teenage strike partner Gary Madine into a better player.
Price, 33, has made more than 400 first-team appearances for Swansea, Doncaster, Hull and Millwall. He signed a permanent deal with the Cumbrians last week following a loan spell at the end of last season and is impressed by 19-year-old Madine.
Price said: "I think with a bit of knowledge from myself Gary Madine will do really well and I hope my experience can help him."
He added: "I'm doing my coaching badges as well and I want to help young players. I've been around for 15 years now so I'm experienced.
"I was really impressed with him and think he has a lot of potential. He's 6ft 3in, good in the air, good on the floor and, although he has a lot to learn, he is a very good player."
