Leyton Orient defender Luke Ashworth has joined Rotherham on a free transfer.
The 20-year-old, who joined Os from Wigan following a successful loan spell, struggled to nail down a regular first team spot during his 18 months at Brisbane Road.
Ashworth joins the Millers on a one-year deal with the option to extend his stay if he impresses Millers boss Ronnie Moore. Ashworth told Rotherham's official website: "I am delighted to be here and want to thank the manager for giving me a chance to move back closer to home. I am looking forward to meeting up with the lads for pre-season training and am optimistic about the season ahead."
