Addicks star on verge of Boro move

Charlton captain Nicky Bailey is on the verge of completing a move to Middlesbrough after the clubs agreed a transfer fee.

The 26-year-old will head to the north east next week to undergo a medical ahead of completing a switch to the Championship club.

Bailey has scored 25 league goals in two seasons at The Valley since joining from Southend. He suffered relegation in his first year before the Addicks bowed out at the play-off stage to Swindon last term.
