Hull midfielder Jimmy Bullard could join Celtic on a season-long loan deal after the Scottish club were given permission to hold talks with him over a potential move.
The future of the former Fulham man has been the subject of intense speculation following Hull's relegation from the Barclays Premier League, and the Bhoys have since made an enquiry about the 31-year-old.
"I have taken a call from Celtic asking about the possibility of taking Jimmy Bullard on a season-long loan," Hull's head of football operations Adam Pearson told the Daily Express.
"We've told Celtic we'd be willing to let Jimmy go out on loan and it is now up to the player.
"Jimmy is currently away on holiday and will make his mind up when he returns next week.
"If Jimmy decides he wants to go to Celtic then we won't stand in his way. He has to consider what he wants to do.
"We have had enquiries from other English clubs but nothing as concrete as Celtic's interest. As things stand I would say Celtic would be favourites to sign Jimmy."
