Doncaster midfielder John Oster has signed a new two-year deal at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The 31-year-old was a regular for Sean O'Driscoll's side in his first season after arriving from Crystal Palace on a free transfer last summer.

The former Wales international initially signed a six-month contract, which was extended until the end of the season.

Oster's previous clubs include Grimsby, Everton, Sunderland, Burnley and Reading, while he has spent loan spells at Barnsley and Leeds. He made 36 appearances for Rovers last season, scoring one goal.
