Chalmers makes Moss Rose move

Published Add your comment

Macclesfield have signed former Aldershot midfielder Lewis Chalmers on a one-year deal.

Chalmers played a key role in the Shots' run to the play-offs last season but was released by manager Kevin Dillon and has penned a contract at Moss Rose.

He said: "I'm only 24 so I have a lot of playing left to do and I'm pleased to be moving back closer to home. I like to be on the ball and play, I'm aggressive on the pitch and very vocal. I want to play every game I can depending on injury and suspension."
