Brentford have raided League One rivals MK Dons to sign defender David McCracken for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old was a key player for the Dons last season after joining from Wycombe but has signed a two-year deal at Griffin Park after the clubs agreed a fee.

Dons manager Karl Robinson said: "With Sean O`Hanlon, Gary Mackenzie and Mathias Doumbe we feel we have strength in central defence and the offer from Brentford made good business sense."
