Out-of-contract Colchester midfielder David Prutton has agreed terms on a two-year contract with Swindon.
The former England Under-21 international agreed a six-month deal at Colchester back in January and Us boss John Ward was keen to re-sign him.
But the 28-year-old, who played 17 games for Colchester last term, has opted to move to the County Ground after a series of productive discussions with Robins boss Danny Wilson.
