Millwall defender Tony Craig will continue his rehabilitation from a foot injury when he returns from holiday.

Craig sustained the problem during the Lions' League One play-off final win over Swindon but club physio Bobby Bacic is satisfied with his progress.

Bacic told the club's official website: "He is at a stage where he is coming to the end of being on crutches and wearing his protective boot, so before he steps up his rehabilitation, we thought we would use this period to let him get away, all be it with a swimming and bike exercise programme."

He added: "Tony has been in most days during the close season since his operation on his metatarsal four weeks ago.

"On his return we will re X-ray to check on the healing and if the surgeon is satisfied we can then progress to full weight bearing exercises without his protective boot and crutches."
