Slovakian club MFK Kosice claim youngster Albert Rusnak has agreed a deal to take him to Manchester City.

The 16-year-old midfielder has agreed a three-year contract with the Eastlands club and follows Nemanja Matic, who joined Chelsea last summer, into the Premier League.

Rusnak impressed coaches at City after having trials with the club previously and will join up with their youth side soon.

The Slovakian side have admitted their principles are to bring players through and ensure they can develop and their Head of Football Development praised that stance.

Allen Bula said: “I have no doubt in my mind, that many other young talents we have in our club, will also have their opportunity.”
