No approach for Pratley, say Swans

Swansea insist npower Championship rivals Nottingham Forest have not made a fresh approach for midfielder Darren Pratley.

Forest had an offer for the 25-year-old rejected in January and have been heavily linked with a new bid after James Perch left the City Ground for Premier League newcomers Newcastle.

However, Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins told the Evening Post: "There is obviously speculation but we haven't received any further approach from Nottingham Forest. But looking in the papers, it seems they may be coming back in with an offer."

Meanwhile, Forest forward Joe Garner could be a transfer target for Huddersfield after Town boss Lee Clark admitted he has been monitoring the 22-year-old.

"He is a player we are very much aware of but that is the case with hundreds of players because of the scouting network we have got," Clark told the Huddersfield Examiner.
