Burnley target going nowhere, says Boothroyd

Coventry manager Aidy Boothroyd has dismissed speculation linking Aron Gunnarsson with a move away from the club.

Burnley boss Brian Laws has been linked with a move for the 21-year-old but Boothroyd says the club have had no contact and Gunnarsson remains part of his plans for next season.

He told the Coventry Telegraph: "We have had no calls from anyone. I don't even know who Aron's agent is and no-one has spoken to me about him."

Boothroyd added: "I like him and I think he has got a lot of strengths."
