Arsenal are once again being linked with young Israeli playmaker Gai Assulin.

The 19-year-old failed to earn a contract renewal at Barcelona, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is thought to be one of the main players in a potential signature battle.

Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are also keen on the former Hapoel Haifa youth player, with his agent Pini Zahavi revealing that several options are on the table.

"The decision not to renew Gai's contract was mutual. At the moment we are considering his options," said Zahavi.

Assulin joined the Barca youth setup in 2003, and made his debut for the 'B' team back in 2007.

International recognition followed, with Assulin becoming the youngest player to represent his country when making his debut against Chile in 2008.

That remains his only cap at senior level, with injury sevearly hampering the player during the 2008/09 season.

Another solid season in the reserves wasn't enough to secure a new deal at the Nou Camp, and Pep Guardiola decided to let the youngster leave as he searches for top level action.

Assulin remains one of the most sort after youngsters in European football, with first team football set to be a key factor in the free agent's final decision.
