Tigers tie up bosman duo

Hull have completed the double signing of midfield pair Nolberto Solano and James Harper.

Former Newcastle and Aston Villa winger Solano, 35, released by Leicester at the end of the season, has signed a one-year contract with the Tigers.

Harper, 29, has signed a two-year deal following his recent release from Sheffield United.

The players are Hull manager Nigel Pearson's first summer signings and their incentivised contracts will start from August 1.

Solano made 13 appearances for Leicester last season after joining in January while Harper was a regular for the Blades after arriving at Bramall Lane in September last year.
