Crewe target Aaron Webster has ended speculation about his future by signing a new contract at Burton.

The left-sided player had talks with Dario Gradi's side but has put pen to paper on a one-year deal at the Pirelli Stadium.

"I am just chuffed that everything is sorted now," Webster told Burton's official club website.

"It has been a difficult few days for me because Crewe are a big club with a good history for bringing players through and that made me pay some very serious attention to what they were saying."
