With the new season just a few weeks away, the loyal armies of Leeds fans have once again put their faith in the club, voting with their feet as take up for season tickets booms.
By early May over 10,000 had already been taken, and the club reports that sales are set to dwarf last seasons figures.
A renewed confidence and long awaited good feeling has swept through Elland Road since promotion to the Npower Championship was secured.
Leeds topped the league table for attendances in League 1 last season with an average of just under 25,000 fans – a factor that helped make Elland Road somewhat of a fortress for large parts of the 09/10 campaign.
It seems that the loyalty shown is finally being rewarded with the club making moves in the right direction and you can only assume that the average attendances will jump even higher for the forthcoming campaign.
