It may not have been a good night for LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers against the Boston Celtics in Game 5, but the King knows talent when he sees it. Following the game last night, he made sure Jayson Tatum received the praise which he deserved.

The Cavaliers lost 96-83 to the Celtics on Wednesday night at the TD Garden in Boston as they were unable to contain Tatum who finished with 24 points, seven rebounds, four assists, four steals, and two blocks while shooting 7-of-15 from the field.

It was a historic night for the Boston rookie, as he not only slipped past Magic Johnson and Wilt Chamberlain to become only the sixth rookie in NBA history to score 300 postseason points, but he now just needs one more 20-point game to tie Milwaukee Bucks legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's rookie record of 10 in a postseason.

Tatum Star

When speaking to ESPN after the game, James made sure to praise Tatum for his efforts on the court, stating how his composure and talent places him far above his actual age.

He said: "His composure, he plays above his age. The unfortunate events of injuries [the Celtics] have had has allowed him to get better faster than they expected. It's given him an opportunity to make fail plays or make mistakes and be able to learn from them and still be able to be on the floor.

"His talent, his composure, where he's come from has allowed him to be successful. He's a very, very, very good player already and he definitely, at this pace, can become a great player."

Tatum's teammate, Jaylen Brown, can't quite believe what he's able to do on the court, as he said: "It's not even something new at this point. He's not even a rookie. He's deep into the postseason in his first year. So it's a blessing to be here. He's been filling it up on both sides of the ball. I tell him to stay locked in on both sides, but the sky is the limit for him."

With all the praise being given to him, Tatum says he's just having fun on the court. He said: "I just enjoy playing in the big moments, in the big games. I think that's when I have the most fun, when things are on the line. A lot of guys stepped up tonight. I can't say it enough: We're one win away from going to the [NBA] Finals, especially after everything we've been through."

Game 6 between the Celtics and the Cavaliers takes place in Cleveland on Friday night.
