Sheffield Wednesday have rejected a third bid from Burnley for goalkeeper Lee Grant.

The highly-rated 27-year-old stopper is a target for several clubs in higher divisions although the Clarets have shown the most interest in securing his services since Wednesday`s relegation to League One.

Yet Owls boss Alan Irvine told the Sheffield Star: "It was an improved offer, but fell way short of what it would take for us to consider selling him."
