Foxes striker departs for France

Published Add your comment

Leicester striker Yann Kermorgant has completed a move to French side AC Arles Avignon on a season-long loan deal.

The 28-year-old, who has made 25 appearances for the Foxes, had already been told by new manager Paulo Sousa he did not feature in his plans for the forthcoming Championship campaign.

Kermorgant, signed from Stade de Reims last term, missed with an audacious penalty as Leicester slumped to a penalty shoot-out defeat to Cardiff in last season's Championship play-offs.
