Morecambe have completed the double signing of Chris McCready and Andy Fleming.

Defender McCready, who spent time on loan at Tranmere last season, has signed on a two-year contract from Northampton, while midfielder Fleming arrives on a similar deal from Wrexham.

But as Fleming is only 22 the fee will be set by a tribunal unless the two clubs can reach an agreement. "I am delighted to have brought two players of such quality to the club," manager Sammy McIlroy told the club's official website. "Andy is a very promising player who I am sure has a great career ahead of him, while Chris has a lot of experience at this level which will be important to us."
