Kevin Dillon has swooped to complete his squad ahead of Saturday's season opener against Accrington Stanley, with Clayton Fortune, Wade Small, Aaron Morris and Jermaine McGlashan all arriving at the EBB Stadium in the past week.

Centre back Fortune, 27, and striker-cum-winger Small, 26, had been on trial at the club, the latter - having left Chesterfield this summer - particularly whetting the Shots' faithful's appetite with a stunning strike against Bristol City last week.

Fortune - formerly of the West-country club - had also impressed with a string of solid performances.

Winger McGlashan, 22, has been plucked out of non-league obscurity by Dillon. His previous club, Ashford Town (of Middlesex), is the latest in a remarkably long line of clubs for a career so short.

However, his new boss was impressed at the behind-closed-doors friendly against Reading in midweek, and believes he has been playing below the level his talent deserves. Speaking to BBC Surrey, Dillon said: "After 20 minutes on Wednesday I knew I was going to sign him."

Wales Under 21 defender Aaron Morris completed the quadruple signing, joining from Championship outfit Cardiff City. He had a spell last season at Newport County, and helped the Exiles gain an emphatic promotion to the Blue Square Premier.
