Liverpool have made no approach to sign Christian Poulsen, according to his agent.
The Juventus midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield this summer, as the Reds search for a replacement for wantaway Argentina captain Javier Mascherano.
Poulsen, 30, moved to Italy from Sevilla in 2008 for €9.75 million, but the Old Lady are reportedly ready to listen to offers for the holding midfielder after he was restricted to bit-part appearances last season.
But, contrary to some reports, Roy Hodgson has made yet to make contact with Juve as regards to the availability of the Denmark international.
"I've also read the voices on newspapers but I can't comment on the rumours," Joern Bonnesen told Calciomercato.it.
"I have not heard from anyone from Liverpool.
"Juventus have not called me and I have not found it necessary to do it.
"How many chances does Poulsen have to leave Juventus? No comment."
