Spurs keeper set to become Pilgrim

Published Add your comment

Tottenham goalkeeper David Button is on the verge of signing a season-long loan deal with Plymouth.

Argyle boss Peter Reid is set to move for Button, even though Birmingham's Colin Doyle has turned out in the majority of their pre-season games.

Button, 21, has been loaned out by Spurs before, with Grays, Rochdale, Bournemouth, Crewe and Shrewsbury all on his CV.

Reid is also close to agreeing a five-month deal with defender Lee Molyneux.
