Spurs star 'not available' for season opener

Published Add your comment

Hull boss Nigel Pearson has admitted he is unlikely to complete the loan signing of Spurs youngster John Bostock in time for Saturday's npower Championship opener against Swansea.

The midfielder has been linked with a move to the KC Stadium, but the Tigers' financial situation means little has happened yet.

"I would say we're probably best off presuming that he's not going to be available," Pearson said in the Hull Daily Mail.

"We can't do any business until certain criteria are met and that's how it is. I can't bring anyone in until we resolve that."
