The agent of Arsenal target Federico Marchetti has admitted the player is likely to leave Cagliari this summer if a suitable offer comes along.
The goalkeeper, who was called into action for Italy at this year’s World Cup after an injury to Gianluigi Buffon, has seen interest in him rocket this summer.
Although the 27-year-old would move on if the right offer came along, he has repeatedly insisted he is happy to stay with the Serie A side.
Agent Beppe Bozzo told Sky Sport Italia: “I am in daily contact with the Cagliari directors. Federico is proud to wear the Rossoblu jersey.
“If before the end of August an offer arrives that would satisfy both Federico and Cagliari, then we could talk about it, but if that doesn't happen then Federico would gladly stay in Sardinia.”
