A first-half penalty from Gareth Evans gave Bradford their first points of the npower League Two season with a 1-0 victory against newcomers Stevenage.
Bradford were awarded the penalty when Lee Bullock was brought down by Joel Byrom and Evans scored from the spot to settle a scrappy game.
