Since Aidy Boothroyd took over the managerial reins at the Ricoh, he has not only brought in many new signings but also a new fighting attitude to the Sky Blues.
Coming back from 2-0 down at Vicarage Road is not something many of the Sky Blues faithful would have predicted.
Coventry City do not have the best record at making comebacks and usually once a few goals get conceded, heads drop and the match becomes a lost cause.
But this did not happen on Saturday.
In the last 30 minutes of the match, the Sky Blues put in a spirited performance and grabbed somewhat fortunate goals from a David Bell curling effort and dubious penalty call, which was converted by Lukas Jutkiewicz.
Boothroyd is clearly working hard at giving his players a winning mentality to play matches down to the final whistle, which this is a good thing for the fans to see.
The players are playing for the shirt and want the club to be successful. This hard won point against Watford could prove vital at the end of the season.
