Wycombe marksman nears return

Published Add your comment

Wycombe striker Stuart Beavon stepped up his comeback from a broken leg as he managed the full 90 minutes of a reserve game at Brentford on Monday.

The 26-year-old broke his leg in May but has made swift progress and could be included in Gary Waddock's squad this weekend.

The game also featured trialist Ben Gill and summer signing Marvin McCoy as the Chairboys were held to a goalless draw.
