QPR are still waiting on the fitness of Akos Buzsaky ahead of the visit of Scunthorpe.

The Hungary midfielder has yet to make an appearance this season after suffering a thigh strain on the eve of the opening day but is close to returning.

Centre-half Fitz Hall limped out of last weekend's 3-0 win at Sheffield United and was replaced by Peter Ramage but he is expected to be fine.

Boss Neil Warnock could therefore stick with the side which raced into a three-goal lead within half an hour at Bramall Lane.

Club captain Martin Rowlands is back in training after 10 months out with a cruciate injury but Saturday's game will come too soon for the Republic of Ireland midfielder.

Winger Lee Cook (knee) is still missing.

Scunthorpe boss Nigel Adkins is boosted by the return of defender Sam Togwell.

Togwell served a one-match ban during last weekend`s 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Norwich following his red card in the Carling Cup win over Oldham.

He could make an immediate return to the starting line-up but Adkins has doubts over midfielder Garry Thompson and defender David Mirfin.

Adkins said: "Garry is just feeling something in the groin area while David is feeling something in the lower leg. We'll see how they respond to treatment."

Midfield duo Michael O`Connor and Josh Wright were replaced midway through the second half but have been passed fit.

Australian defender Trent McClenahan, who recently joined on a short-term deal until January, is hoping to make his first senior appearance for the club.
