Northampton remain winless in League Two after Bury came from behind to claim a 1-1 draw at Gigg Lane.
Steve Guinan gave the visitors the lead with a 33rd-minute penalty but a point was the least Bury deserved and substitute David Worrall claimed a 69th-minute equaliser.
The Shakers looked sharp early on with Ryan Lowe testing Oscar Jansson while Mike Jones volleyed narrowly wide.
The visitors replied with Guinan volleying over from Billy McKay's cross before Ryan Gilligan fed Guinan, only for Cameron Belford to rush out and block his shot.
But Guinan then claimed his first goal in 19 games after Joe Skarz bundled the Cobblers striker over for a soft penalty.
Jansson denied Lowe a quick equaliser from Andy Bishop's through-ball while Bishop headed wide from Lowe's cross after the break.
But Bury then made a double substitution with Bishop and Jones coming off for Lenell John-Lewis, who soon fired wide, and Worrall, who levelled the scores moments later.
Haworth fed Lowe, who fired against a post after going round Jansson, but Worrall was there to put the rebound into an empty net.
Bury pushed for a winner but the nearest they went was when Lowe dragged a late effort wide.
