Arsenal are being linked with a shock move for Mexican international Efrain Juarez.
The 22-year-old midfielder has made an instant impact at Celtic after joining the Scottish side this summer, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is thought to be interested in bringing the versatile youngster to the Emirates.
Juarez spent a brief spell in the Barcelona youth setup before moving back to hometown club UNAM Pumas in 2008. He made his senior debut in that year, and made 72 appearances in two seasons with the side.
The Hoops paid €2.4million to bring Juarez to Celtic Park, and the player has repaid some of Neil Lennon's faith with a couple of goals in European games this season.
Part of Mexico's World Cup squad in South Africa, the Irish Sun reports that Wenger is considering a January move for the player despite him only signing for the SPL side less than two months ago.
Frenchman Wenger watched his side cruise past Blackpool 6-0 on Saturday, but is still keen to strengthen his side in both the current and winter transfer windows as the Gunners looks to make a sustained title challenge in the Premier League this season.
