Brede Hangeland struck a last-minute equaliser to deny Manchester United victory as they drew 2-2 with Fulham in a gripping Barclays Premier League clash at Craven Cottage.

United appeared to be heading for victory when Hangeland produced an unfortunate own goal with seven minutes go.

Nani missed a penalty which would have put United 3-1 up and the Norwegian defender made them pay when he atoned for his earlier blunder by powering a header past Edwin van der Sar.
