Ipswich delight at Scotland signing

Ipswich manager Roy Keane believes new signing Jason Scotland offers his side a different option.

Scotland arrived from Wigan on Monday and Keane believes he can provide the killer instinct in front of goal.

Keane told the club's official website: "Jason is a good player and I am delighted to have him at the club."

He added: "He will bring us something different. He is more of a poacher than the other strikers we have here who do a lot of work down the channels.

"We are always going on to our front players about being in and around the six-yard box and Jason will do that.

"He has proven he can score goals at this level but we have to be patient with him and give him time to settle in."
